Accessibility
Built for everyone.
AC COAD/LTRG is committed to making this website accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities.
Our commitment
WCAG 2.1 Level AA
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. This is the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) for public-facing websites.
Perceivable
We provide text alternatives for images, sufficient color contrast, and resizable text so content is readable by everyone — including screen-reader users and people with low vision.
Operable
All interactive elements are reachable by keyboard, skip-navigation links are provided, and focus indicators are visible. No content relies on timed interaction alone.
Understandable
We write in plain language, use predictable navigation, label all forms clearly, and identify the language of every page so assistive technologies interpret content correctly.
Robust
We rely on semantic HTML and standard ARIA patterns so the site works reliably across browsers, screen readers, and other assistive technologies now and in the future.
Assessment
How we test
We use a combination of automated tools and manual review to evaluate accessibility.
Automated testing
We run automated WCAG 2.1 AA scans across every page using industry-standard tools to catch contrast, heading-order, and landmark issues before they reach production.
Manual review
We inspect keyboard navigation, focus management, and screen-reader behavior on key user flows. We also review content for plain-language readability and clear link purpose.
Feedback
Tell us how we can improve
If you encounter an accessibility barrier — or have a suggestion — we want to hear from you.
We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within two business days. If you need a document in an alternate format, let us know the format and we will do our best to accommodate.
